Consult with your church, temple, shrine, or mosque...

When planning the ceremony, it is important to be familiar with the requirements of your religion.  Many faiths ask that you to attend meetings and counseling before you are able to be married.  If divorce or an inter-faith relationship is involved, this will also have impact on where and how you can be married.  Other things to consider are the rules regarding music selection, photography, attire, fees, and decorations used, as well as the date and time itself as many religions do not allow marriage on special days.  The best advice we can offer is to speak with your religious official as soon as possible since these requirements are certain to effect your planning.
